As they are eating breakfast Ezra knocks on the door.

“So its true you were witness protection?” Ezra asks.

“We are so sorry we left your guys in the lurch, with the meals.” Gervais says.

“They’ve been fine. We all miss the food but life goes on.” Ezra says.

“They are welcome to stay until its sold. We’ll go and speak to them later, if they are still here.” Blue says.

“They are still here. Look I was thinking about what you said about having a community café at home, all taking a turn each week. I think it would work. What do you think?” Ezra asks.

“I think it is exactly what you need. I’d suggest a slightly different way to running it to home. Maybe having a couple of cooking shifts where a bunch of you make food that can freeze for the week.” Blue says.

“And you’d consider selling this place to me? The guys and I were talking about continuing your work on the veggies and your idea about posh camping or a b&b something for the school parents. Building trade is so hit and miss here. Be nice to have a backup.” Ezra says.

“We’ll sell it to you for what you can afford.” Gervais says.

“Someone did the same to us once. We always knew we’d pay it forward.” Blue says.

“Just come up with a price, that will leave you able to fund getting started.” Gervais says.

“And I will bake and cook today and fill the freezers in the café. Soup, brownies and cookie dough. Get you started and I’ll leave some simple recipes.” Blue grins.

“Yes you can. Give us your offer tonight.” Gervais says.

“We mean it. This place wasn’t right for us. But you see what it could be and you will serve this community and house your guys. It is a home to you.” Blue says feeling Abby’s hand on his shoulder.

They enjoy their few days together, the four get on well and they all know the summer will be good. Robin works on his day job while the others help get the community café ready and pack up the house.

They stay a few days more and join for the opening of the café, enjoying a chance to say goodbye to all the friends they made.

“So I was right? I felt terrible after you left. That it was my fault.” Liv says.

“You were right and as you didn’t kidnap a young friend of mine, or even know he existed be sure it wasn’t your fault.” Blue says.

“I’ll miss the paintings.” Liv says.

“I will get Birch to send you another, and some prints. He owes me.” Blue grins.

“No. We’ll be leaving tomorrow. But I am back to being me and you can call me any time. I am spending time with Spence this summer and we will try and visit or have you come and stay.” Gervais says.

“Too cool Can I have a milkshake?” Tommy asks.

“Of course you can.” Blue grins.

“You make the best ice-cream.” Tommy says.

“Is it true that Blue ice-cream is named after you?” Johnny asks.

“Yes I was one of the founders and they still use many of my recipes.” Blue says.

“Oh wow.” Kai says.

“Are you two?” Blue asks.

“No we both have girlfriends.” Johnny says abruptly.

“Embrace it. Life is too short to hide. Believe me it took a lot for me to admit I’m bi.” Robin says.

“I’m straight.” Johnny says and Kai’s face falls.

“Kai, you deserve someone who will shout their love from the rooftops.” Gervais says.
